I was teaching a lesson on descriptive words and we were talking about words to use other than scary and came up with freaky and from there it went down hill. The kids thought I had said freakin’ which to them is a swear word and no matter what I did they would not believe me and now I am sure at least half of my kids are going to home to tell their parents their teacher sweared in class...
