Going to be getting a lot of any letters from parents tomorrow

I was teaching a lesson on descriptive words and we were talking about words to use other than scary and came up with freaky and from there it went down hill.  The kids thought I had said freakin’ which to them is a swear word and no matter what I did they would not believe me and now I am sure at least half of my kids are going to home to tell their parents their teacher sweared in class today.  I am so not looking forward to tomorrow morning. 

note to self: never use the word freaky they will think your saying freakin’
